AqVida has been informed recently that the following falsified products of their portfolio were sold in Armenia:

Oxaliplatin AqVida 5 mg/ml concentrate for solution for infusion, filling sizes of 50 mg and 100 mg in German packaging.

From outer appearance one version of the fakes is very difficult to distinguish from AqVida genuine products.

Outer carton is an accurate copy in every detail - with all text elements and of good quality. However, dimensions of the outer cartons were changed. The fake glass vial is in amber glass with blue lid, whilst AqVida is using clear glass vials with white cap for the genuine product.

Another falsified variant is also using amber glass vials inside the packaging - but they are not fitted with a flat shoulder and a flat rounded foot like AqVida original but have a round shoulder. The product caps of the imitation are completely made of aluminum but differ enormously from the original. Also striking is the missing product cap print of the counterfeit as well as the missing imprints on the label of product name and version number of the label. In addition, the new fake uses a different color for product differentiation as well as not the rounded corners of our label.
